Week 1 Portfolio Work: Blender modelling

For my task, I chose to model the clock tower in Ulverstone, which is the centrepiece of a war memorial.

The back two legs are deformed cylinders, as are the platforms on which the clock faces sit. For the cone at the top of the tower, I took blender's default cone and made it more bulbous near the bottom.

My model is simplified compared to the actual watchtower. The chains are missing, and so are the ladders, scaffolding, and text on the tower's legs. The actual clock also has a statue of a soldier under the clock that I didn't put in the model.

I also made the barrel from the tutorial.
